Primary 5 were excited to take part in a hot seat activity about ancient Egypt. They worked in small groups, each choosing a pharaoh to study. In every group, one child played the pharaoh while others acted as advisers. Together, they planned how their pharaoh would speak and answer questions. They discussed important topics like building pyramids and ruling the country.
When it was time, each pharaoh sat in the hot seat at the front of the class. The other pupils asked questions as if they were citizens of Egypt. The pharaohs answered confidently, with help from their group members. Everyone listened carefully and enjoyed the creative responses.
